Hey friends! I was on TV talking about the (welcome!) relief in rental rates - in about 3 on-camera segments - hopefully not looking like a total idiot! Sounds like they're going to air the longer interview in the next couple of weeks. What do you think?

Apartment prices in the Austin area have come down significantly in the last year, and there are plenty of bargains to be had. Experts say it’s a renter’s market, meaning if your landlord is trying to raise your rent, you can likely negotiate it down.

Cody and I found ourselves in Lockhart, since we had to drive down to our future wedding venue.

Our good pals Taylor and Austin love there with their kids, and own Chaparral Coffee, which is now stocking home essentials and hard-to-find groceries. I love these big-hearted and joyful people so much!

Meet my fiancé Cody! We would have been husband and wife today, but with COVID delaying our wedding, we get to have another year to look forward to the wedding all over again!

Thinking about our 6-year relationship, I can say that we are both very good at not letting small things bother us, letting those things that don't really matter just vaporize into the air, and this helps keep the love burn brightly. Cody is SO good at this, and i'm always surprised that he doesn't get annoyed at me for losing things or for being completely scatterbrained from time to time. When we do have something large and weighty to go through, we're open and non-defensive communicators, and can both readily say those most magical of words: I'm sorry. I love him dearly and feel like the luckiest woman alive.
