Halfway there 🤍 This campaign has been sitting on my heart more than I expected.
As a mom, a wife, and someone surrounded by incredible women in my life… learning that 1 in 3 women die from heart disease hits differently. It’s not some far-off statistic… it’s close to home for all of us.
I said yes to being a part of the American Heart Association’s Red Hot Summer Night because I want to do something with that awareness. Even in a small way.

Picture this: you have a need or itch to move and sell your home but there are logistics like the school year, work hours, budgeting time and money for things to do to get the house ready AND it’s a buyer’s market with the success rate of selling is averaging 30-60% depending on the demand in your neighborhood. Sounds like fun 👎

But that doesn’t mean it has to be the worst experience ever and that it’s not the right time for you to make a move. Keyword being: TIME

Time is necessary to process what’s ahead. That, and having the right team by your side.
Two weeks shy of one year ago, this homeowner emailed us that we were recommended to him by another Grand Mesa neighbor. After reviewing numbers, timing and giving them suggestions on the most impactful things they can spend time and money on to get the house positioned just right for the market, it was another 6 months before they were really ready to start thinking about the logistics of actually listing their home and to process the reality of the money they would make from the sale. Then another three months to get through holidays, working around their family’s schedules for the final make ready times, and our team prepping media, marketing and the listing once the house was ready. And then the house actually has to go on the market… Showing after showing - some short, some longer, some cancelled - the patience shrinks, the motivation becomes harder to muster to get the house ready, and honestly to see the light at the end of the tunnel. There’s still that chance of spending months doing this and NOT getting an offer - at all or that’s acceptable to you.

Then you round a corner - you listen to the feedback, what the market’s telling you that buyers will pay, and you realize that the reason you decided this in the first place wasn’t to go through THIS experience of selling. It was to get to the other side. To your next chapter.
