βοΈπ‘οΈ HEAT ADVISORY NOTICE π‘οΈβοΈ
With temperatures rising, we encourage everyone to take extra precautions to stay safe and hydrated during this heat advisory.
π§ Drink plenty of water throughout the day, even if you don't feel thirsty.
π Stay indoors in air-conditioned spaces whenever possible.
π Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing.
π§’ Use sunscreen and wear a hat when outdoors.
πΆ Limit strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day (typically 10 AM β 4 PM).
π₯ Check on neighbors, friends, and family members, especially older adults and those with health concerns.
πΎ Don't forget your pets! Make sure they have plenty of fresh water and a cool place to rest.
π Never leave children, pets, or anyone else in a parked vehicle.
β οΈ Watch for signs of heat-related illness, including dizziness, nausea, headache, excessive
sweating, or confusion. Seek medical attention if symptoms become severe.
