You know I don’t usually put my kids on here, but this is a little out of the ordinary ; )

She works her ass off and is a fearless competitor in single-handed optimist class dinghy racing! She’s a classy, yet scrappy little sailor in a league of world talent and we are very proud of the type of competitor she is. She’s born in Miami Beach, but she’s a Kansas kid still, just once removed 😂

This is an issue that must be addressed for the overall health of our society. Dog eat dog is going to boil us down to a one-dog autocracy, whereas helping people have a level playing field will bring longevity to our society. It can be a selfish act to help others if that's how you need to look at it if you're a pure competition person. I'm finding balance is necessary to stay upright though.

A great deal is owed to the sacrifices of the generations of freedom fighters who have come before. Discomfort must be ignored and we must continue having hard discussions. Have a peaceful MLK Jr Observance.
