This means you would technically qualify for 3%-3.5% down, it just all depends. The Lender/ Mortgage Broker would know best. But just know it is possible, because I’ve done it!

One of the first steps on your home ownership journey should be working with a Mortgage Professional( Mortgage consultant, Broker) etc. They’re your go to person and the first step in the process. I say this because you can not work with a Realtor if you do not know how much house you can afford. The Mortgage professional can assist you with 1st time Home buyer programs and let you know what your DTI is (Debt to Income Ratio). If you’re looking for a name of Mortgage Professional please let me know and I can point you in the right direction! But, just know you can not start looking for a home until you get this step completed! Just helpful info for anyone new to the home buying process. 1st step is getting Pre-approved/ Pre-qualified.
