Over the years I’ve taken houses from sitting on the market for years to selling after the first showing… just by my staging efforts and custom strategies.
Last year when the market went bonkers I was absolutely baffled by the photos of properties taken with cleaning supplies on the counters, blurred pictures, photos of toilets or windows (like, really?), photos taken IN THE DARK, an exterior photo of a house with the dashboard of someone’s car in it because they were too lazy to get out of the car and take a nice picture, and the list goes on.
As we transition into the spring market, I say all of this to say that who you choose as a Realtor matters. Trusting the largest investment of your life with a friend of a friend who might have 5 seconds of experience over someone with 17 years of experience in the trenches, in both great markets, and disaster markets, is not in your best interest.
Someone who actually takes pride in what they do and wants to see you WIN, is who you want in your corner this year…and especially as the market transitions (it always does!).
