Millwork Assembler

Interested in working for the largest millwork company in the Northeast supplying the finest and largest projects in the region? Well, look no further! We are an Architectural Woodworking Company located in Avon, CT seeking experienced Millwork Assemblers to join our team!

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Fabrication of custom woodworking.
- Prep material for assembly using exact
measurements.
- Assembles component parts according
to customer specifications.
- Installation of hardware and application
of adhesive and structural glues etc.
- Operate hand and power tools
necessary to fabricate material.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- Two years of experience of millwork,
custom woodwork, & cabinet/casework
making preferred.
- Knowledge of various woodworking
machinery and tools.
- Knowledge of cabinet making and
general assembly techniques.
- Must be able to achieve results in an
accurate and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with co-
workers and managers.
- Requires standing for extended periods
of time, bending, pushing/pulling, and
lifting/carrying over 20lbs.

We are pleased to exhibit our work in this beautiful office fit-out we have recently wrapped up. This is a truly magnificent space featuring; arched openings and passages, a central planter with an integrated wrap-around bench, wall paneling, beam wraps, and much more - most of which is clad with white oak. Huge thanks to PAC Group, LLC for bringing us onboard for this project and to the team of talented installers Pursuit Construction, LLC. We are also grateful for the many talented workers here at Legere Group who helped bring the design of Atelier Cho Thompson to life.

Serving as both an eye-catching centerpiece and a versatile workspace, this bench offers both style and functionality.

In 1975, owner Frank Legere founded Better Built Cabinets in a 200 square foot garage located in West Hartford, CT. In 1978, Ron Legere joined his brother Frank as a business partner and together with continued success, grew the company into what it is now.

Today, we are proud to be one of the largest and most respected companies in our industry, thanks to the dedication of our skilled team, the trust of our valued clients, and the strong relationships we've built over five decades.

As we celebrate this significant milestone, we reflect on the journey that has brought us here and look forward to the opportunities that lie ahead. Legere Group is excited to highlight our recent completion of millwork and casework at the Farmington High School in Farmington Connecticut. Our team crafted and installed all of the custom wood panels throughout the auditorium as well as casework and millwork throughout the building.

A special thank you to O & G Industries for their collaboration and support throughout the project, as well as to the installers at Nor'easter Installation whose craftsmanship and attention to detail made this installation a success. It’s our pleasure to contribute to the school’s vibrant community!
