I got to experience something pretty incredible as part of the Goodyear LEAD Alumni program — a Day at the Arizona Capitol.

We had the opportunity to go behind the scenes and see firsthand how bills move through the legislative process, tour hearing rooms, sit inside legislative chambers, and hear directly from state leaders about what happens before decisions become law.

Why does this matter to real estate? 🏡

Because what happens at the local and state level can impact our communities, growth, roads, schools, development, housing, and ultimately the future of where we live.

One thing I’ve learned in real estate is that helping people make smart decisions goes beyond opening doors to homes — it’s about understanding the bigger picture of the communities we invest in.

Grateful to be part of a city that values leadership, education, and community involvement. 🇺🇸

Social media is funny because people see snippets of your life and think they know the whole story.

What you don’t always see:

The late nights.
The follow-ups.
The uncertainty of commission income.
The prayers.
The sacrifices of being a single mom while building a business.

But you also don’t see how grateful I am that I get to help people through one of the biggest milestones of their lives. 🏡🤍

And yes… sometimes I disappear because I’m working, crocheting, surviving mom life, or all three. 😂

Here in the West Valley, I’m seeing homes sit longer if they’re overpriced 👀 BUT well-priced homes are still moving.

Buyers have more negotiating power than they did a few years ago:

✅ Less competition in many price points

But sellers are still winning too… if the pricing and strategy are right.

This isn’t a bad market. It’s a market that rewards smart decisions.
