James has been a resident of Long Island his entire life and has strong roots within the community. The Neal Family first moved to the area in 1952 with three generations still residing on Long Island. Jim's only time away from Long Island was while obtaining a bachelor's degree from Purdue University. Jim is also an active member of the Knights of Columbus and his local Church. Jim works in colla
boration with his son, Michael, at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which proudly has the highest sales volume of all the companies on Long Island. Jim, in his six years in Real Estate, has managed sales across Long Island, representing and assisting his clients with either purchasing or selling a home. In 2018 he received the International Sterling award for top 10% sales for the company and was also the Agent of the Month for two consecutive months. Jim is also the recipient of the prestigious Dale Carnegie Sales Presentation Award in 2014. His team is a member of the Long Island Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Jim is also a designated Certified Buyer Representative with the Long Island Board of Realtors. Prior to joining the Real Estate industry, Jim owned and operated a full-service Landscape Maintenance and Design business for 35 Years, catering to the needs of over 350 Clients regularly, generating 1 Million Dollars in Annual Sales and Service. Jim brings to his real estate business the same work ethic, business skills, attention to details and client care as in his previous career. His knowledge of the Real Estate industry and passionate commitment to his clients' needs, is what separates him from the rest of the industry. In 2019, Jim became recognized as a Real Estate Associate Broker.
