🚨 IT HAPPENED AGAIN 🚨
We were informed earlier this evening that a young, innocent couple in Huron County handed over $600 via Apple Pay to a SCAMMER from TikTok thinking they were putting money down to rent one of our listings. DO NOT SEND MONEY TO A RANDOM PERSON FROM TIKTOK TO RENT A HOUSE! They are stealing photos from listings online and posting them as cheap rentals. They have NO affiliation with the home and are asking people to fill out a Google doc and requesting $ be sent via Apple Pay. They are stealing $$ from people. SPREAD THE WORD! It isn’t just our listings we have seen. There are other local listings as well as many others from all over.

We want to make our community aware of a scam involving real estate listings.
We DO NOT post our listings on TikTok for rent or for sale. We recently discovered a TikTok account using some of our listings, along with listings from other local agents, and have reported it. We also notified the other listing agents involved.
Unfortunately, a client reached out to us after believing one of these fraudulent posts was legitimate and sent money, thinking she was placing a deposit on a rental home.
