UTA Spotlight: Cara Vandecar, Final Policy Clerk

Cara Vandecar is a resident of Gagetown and joined United Title Agency in October 2025. Prior to joining the title industry, she spent six years working as a medical billing and claims specialist, where she developed strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellent service.

Outside of her professional role, Cara enjoys life with her husband and their two boys. She values quality family time, especially game nights, beach days, and loves thrifting and shopping with her sisters and grandmother. Cara also enjoys spending evenings at local dirt tracks during the summer, supporting her husband and cheering him on during race nights.

UTA Spotlight - Deb McCollum

Deb McCollum joined United Title Agency in November 2025, bringing with her more than a decade of public service and extensive experience in financial management. Deb retired as the Huron County Treasurer after 13 years with the County, including 10 years serving as Treasurer. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing county funds, managing tax collections, and ensuring strong fiscal stewardship for the community.
Prior to her tenure as Treasurer, Deb gained valuable experience in both the Housing Department at HDC, where she specialized in loan packaging, and in the private sector in accounting, building a well-rounded foundation in finance, compliance, and customer service. Her diverse background gives her a comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions, financial processes, and client relations.
A lifelong resident of Huron County, Deb’s spouse is the proud owner of the local Peppermill restaurant. She values community involvement and building lasting relationships both professionally and personally.
Deb is the proud member of a blended family with five children and five grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, painting, horseback riding, traveling, and listening to music. Most of all, she treasures spending quality time with family and friends.
Deb’s experience, integrity, and commitment to service make her a valuable asset to United Title Agency and the clients she serves.

UTA SPOTLIGHT - Gina Knoblock, Escrow Closer

Gina Knoblock joined United Title Agency in August and recently obtained her Title Producer License as she begins an exciting new chapter in her career. After 27 years in senior living management, Gina made the decision to pursue a new challenge, bringing her leadership skills, attention to detail, and client-focused approach into the title industry.
Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to guiding individuals and families through important transitions with professionalism, care, and integrity. Gina is excited to apply that same commitment to helping clients with their settlement needs, ensuring each transaction is handled smoothly and efficiently.
Gina lives in Harbor Beach with her husband. Their two children are grown and building lives of their own, which makes time together even more special. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, getting lost in a good book, and spending weekends up north in Hale. She values time with family and friends and appreciates the balance of small-town living with new adventures whenever she can find them.
