Calling all Bailey residents! Join us for an important town meeting hosted by the Platte Canyon Chamber of Commerce on February 27th, 6pm-8pm at the Platte Canyon Firehouse, 153 Delwood Drive.

We'll be discussing the results of our Community Survey, Chamber activities, and priorities and encouraging input from you. Your voice matters!

Bailey's Cowboy Christmas Holiday Jamboree December 2

Mark your calendars for December 2 for Cowboy Christmas in downtown Bailey. It's a fun and FREE event with something for the entire family.

Festivities start at noon with a Christmas Market in a heated tent. There will be tons of free kids activities from holiday crafts to cookie decorating and more in and around the community center starting at 2pm. Warm up by the fire and grab some s'mores.

Santa will arrive at 2pm and your kids can take a free photo with Santa from 2 to 4. There will also be a fun selfie station backdrop with an old decorated sideboard truck and dozens of props so you can take holiday family photos.

A free music concert with local Colorado country western musician, Jax Jordening, will take place in another tent on the community center grounds from 1:30 to 4:30. At sunset, we will do the countdown and light the town Christmas tree and then the Holiday Jamboree round-up light parade starts. This year the parade will be bigger than ever.

There will be an after party at Mad Jacks, with lots of costume contests from ugly sweaters, to best holiday beard, best cowgirl, best cowboy and best holiday dressed dogs and even more holiday fun.

All Bailey businesses - here's a chance to get lots of exposure - we'd love to have you be part of this promotion!

We're conducting a promotion on November 24 & 25 in support of small business Saturday called Bailey's Bounty. It is designed to encourage the Bailey Community to shop and do business locally. A big part of the goal of this promotion is to make people aware of ALL the businesses that are in Bailey, since many don't realize just how many there are. We want people to know that Bailey is OPEN for business and you don't need to drive down the hill for everything.

This promotion includes a sweepstakes for shoppers those days that gives then a chance to win a gift basket of goods/services/gift cards from local businesses. We started the promotion last year with 26 businesses as a trial and it was a huge success. We want to make it even bigger this year by including even more businesses. We are inviting all businesses to participate whether you have a storefront or not. You don't have to be a retail business to gain benefit from this, you can be a service or professional service business or anything. Even if you are not open on 11/24 and 25, this promotion provides a ton of exposure. Last year we reached over 80% of everyone in Park County. If you are home-based business, this is a great opportunity for you to gain some awareness.

It's open to ALL businesses in Bailey - you don't have to be a Chamber member. All it takes to participate is for you to donate something for the prize gift basket and provide us your logo. You'd then be included in all the promotions.
