If I had to choose one of my favorite stretches of Bainbridge Island, WA, South Beach would be high on the list. 🌊🏔️

Here’s what I love about it.

South Beach has that quintessential island feeling: quiet roads, beautiful homes tucked into the landscape, Puget Sound right outside your door, and on a clear day, Mount Rainier rising in the distance.

It’s the kind of place where an ordinary walk can turn into stopping for a few minutes just to take in the view.

Water in the foreground, Mount Rainier in the distance. South Beach has a way of making an everyday moment feel anything but ordinary. 🤍

Located on the southern end of Bainbridge Island, South Beach offers a peaceful waterfront setting while still keeping you connected to Winslow, the ferry, and the rest of the island.

It’s one of those pockets that captures so much of what people picture when they imagine living on Bainbridge Island: water, mountains, nature, and a slower pace of life. 🌲

I have to go to Bainbridge Island, WA for an “emergency.” 🚨🤍

Very urgent matters include: a very important meeting at Manitou Beach, my favorite mocha latte at Coquette Bake Shop, a morning walk through Grand Forest, happy hour at Doc’s Marina Grill, catching a sunset at Fort Ward Park, and of course, a Saturday morning at the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market. 🌊☕🌲

Clearly, these things cannot wait. 😉
