Hope everyone is staying safe during these outages! Thank you to Puget Sound Energy for working to restore power in our community.

Damaging winds moved through the Puget Sound region overnight and this morning. Kitsap County sustained the most amount of damage with outages also extending throughout much of the service area. Field crews are reporting downed wires, damaged poles and impacts to some high voltage transmission lines.

Our Emergency Coordination Center and local storm bases are open to coordinate restoration efforts.

We understand how difficult it is to be without power. Our crews are working as quickly as they can to safely assess damage and make repairs to equipment. With the winds still expected through noon today, we will be monitoring the situation to ensure the safety of our crews.

Safety Reminder: Never touch or go within 35 feet of downed power lines - they may be energized. Report problems to 1-888-225-5773 or 911.
