We celebrated this amazing woman's 80th birthday yesterday. To your siblings and old friends you are Tencha, to your past students you are Mallestra, to others you are Tia Tencha and to some who remember and are lucky enough you are the tamale queen but to us you are all those things and we are blessed to call you our Mom. Yesterday couldn't have been more perfect we honored you with a surprise party your baby boy Rafael flew in from (Tennessee) to be with you and to drive you around to distract you so that you wouldn't suspect anything 🤭, it was touching and our hearts melted when you seen your other favorite son Ed (4th child). And we all cried with you when you had the mariachis play Amor Erterno en memory of our beloved sister Zoila who God took too soon. The house was filled with the warmth and love from those closest to you. Thank you Maziel (3rd child)and Delfina for the delicious food and opening your beautiful home to us for this special occasion. And thank you to everyone, who remembered to call my mom and those who shared this special moment with us. 🤗🥰
