For SELLERS:
▫️One potential benefit for sellers when mortgage rates rise is less competition from other sellers.
So, if you do need to sell, fewer competing listings can potentially help your home stand out and support its price.

For BUYERS:
▫️There’s less competition from other buyers.
Higher rates can cause some buyers to delay purchasing. But, with fewer competing buyers, it can give you more negotiating power, and sellers may be more willing to negotiate. If rates fall later, you may be able to refinance.

Just remember— Buying & selling goes on despite the interest rates.
