1. Stay calm. A new year means a fresh start! Start from where you are instead of trying to make up for lost time.

2. Re-evaluate your savings goal and monthly budget and adjust if necessary.

3. Open a savings account & commit to making deposits that fit into your budget.

4. Continue to pay bills on time.
