Lease too long and you may end up paying down someone else’s mortgage. Buy too soon and you may tie up cash your business needs elsewhere.
A good rule of thumb: under 5 years, lease it. 7+ years with a stable operation, running the buy analysis. The 5–7-year range is where the math matters most.
