During grand opening week, the store hosted its weekly Lululemon Run Club, which meets every Thursday evening in front of the store. And so it was in Highgate Central Park recently when community residents were treated to a bucolic summer evening filled with good friends, good food, and good music. Local band Devotion661 set up their gear on the Clubhouse stage area while residents arrived with their lawn chairs, picnic blankets, kids and dogs! Soon the air was filled with the sound of song and guests were movin' and groovin' along to the beat. As the entertainment progressed people began to make their way to where Tastie A's catering was dishing out a summer favorite - hot dogs with all the trimmings! And no summer picnic would be complete without an ice cream cone from the Frosty Fun Ice Cream Wagon. Gatherings like this are just part of the attraction of life in a Highgate community.
