We are enjoying Lisa and so happy we gave her a chance for a new life! She has a very powerful story!
Lisa’s journey is a powerful testament to resilience. Since 2016, she faced homelessness, living first on her sister's porch and eventually on the streets of Oildale. Battling mental health struggles and substance use, she was in a constant cycle of moving her encampment and belongings due to frequent code enforcement. But Lisa never lost hope. She found a lifeline in Flood, and because Flood never gave up on her, she now has a safe place to call home. This stability is the first step toward healing and improving her mental and physical health. We love you, Lisa! Welcome home, friend!
