Why the holiday season might be the best time for you to list your home!
🎄Buyers are more serious. Anyone looking to buy during the holidays tends to be more serious. They are usually looking because they have to.
🎄Lack of competition. Lost of sellers take their home off the market during the holidays, assuming no one will buy at this time. With serious buyers still out there and less inventory the holiday season offers the chance to emerge as the best option out there!
🎄Flexible schedules! Buyers have more time to house hunt during the holidays (unused vacation time, holiday time off, work slow-down). This sudden influx of “free time” gives would-be homebuyers the chance to peruse your property beyond “usual” viewing times. Instead of waiting for weekends to display a property, or after work, you can set showings during the week.
🎄Homes show better during the holidays. Decorated with lights and garland, homes and neighborhoods usually look their best during the holiday months and can trigger an emotional response from buyers.
🎄Smoother transactions. There are fewer real estate transactions occurring during the holiday season. Business slows down for professionals who are involved in a real estate transaction, so they all have more time to spend with clients which could mean a smoother transaction and a better experience!
