We started when our daughter was 2 and our son 5. She is now a teen, and our son is in college. BHI is our special place to make memories. It can be your’s too!

Friday, July 3 Open house rescheduled… the open house scheduled for our new home, Poppet’s Sandbox, located at 556 Chicamacomico Way, and meant for potential renters, will be rescheduled. A final delivery of home items has had its delivery delayed. We look forward to showing the home at a nearby date!

Poppet’s Sandbox is getting ready. This home, owned by a NC family, was recently completed new construction. Our family is looking to share it with a limited number of guests that will appreciate new construction, interior design touches, natural cleaners, and proximity to the Shoal’s Club and BHI Conservancy.

Our family has been busy selecting our favorite items for the house to make it feel like home. With three bedrooms (king beds) and each with their own baths, plus a bonus bunkroom for the kids, this home is perfect for vacations.

Poppet’s Sandbox is getting ready! Everything in our house will be brand new and ready to welcome guests. We look forward to sharing our home with a small number of guests this year and going forward. Our plans are to limit occupancy so that this family home will always feel well kept and loved. Here are a few pictures of Poppet’s Sandbox being set up.

Poppet’s Sandbox has three bedrooms (king beds), each with their own baths. Plus a bonus bunkroom!

An outdoor tv in the screened in patio, two brand new golf carts on order, guest membership opportunities at both the Shoal’s and BHI Golf clubs, proximity to the BHI Conservancy, and designer decor.

Limited rental availability. Looking for 12-15 families to enjoy this special home and treat it with the same care as the homeowners.

Update on Poppet’s Sandbox… well, we are excited to open Poppet’s Sandbox this summer. This home is BRAND NEW. With that comes a few glitches that are keeping us from posting our rental availability just yet. Golf carts are our hold up. Who knew the time for delivery of brand new carts would be eight weeks? We will keep you updated, and in the meantime, share a few things about what to expect once Poppet’s Sandbox is available.

Our family lives an organic lifestyle which means we really care about quality products, natural cleaners, and being healthy. Because of this, Poppet’s Sandbox will only use quality, natural cleaners. If you are at the beach, enjoying the gorgeous natural environment, wouldn’t it be nice to leave toxins out of your vacation plans?

Poppet’s Sandbox will be a non-smoking home. And, while we love dogs and own a horse property, this house will be pet free. After caring for 21 horses, dogs and rescues at home, our family can have a vacation too.

Erin Brockovich is now turning her attention to Big Tech’s data centers.

The environmental activist has launched a project called Brockovich Data Center Reporting, designed to track the rapid spread of AI and hyperscale data centers across the United States.

The site maps data centers that are already operating, under construction, or proposed.

But it also lets local communities report concerns.

Water use.

Electricity demand.

Noise.

E-waste.

Higher utility bills.

Environmental impact.

The campaign is not just about where these facilities are being built.

It is about what they could cost the people living around them.

As AI grows, Big Tech needs more data centers, more power, and more water to keep everything running.

Brockovich is now asking communities to document what they are seeing before the damage becomes impossible to ignore.

She became famous for taking on polluted water.

Now she is watching the infrastructure behind artificial intelligence.
