A year ago today was one of my sadness days that I can remember. I lost my mother, the woman who sacrificed herself to provide the best life for me. This year has been a journey, going through the first of different things. The first Father’s Day, my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, children’s and my wife’s birthday, Jiana becoming an all-American in track. All things my mother wasn’t there for.
I miss her and will always miss her, but I will never forget what she did for me and others. Her legacy lives through all who knew her.
I will cherish every memory that I have, the good and bad, because each one made us closer.
All I can do now is continue to trust God and be faithful so that one day I can she her in the kingdom.
I thank everyone who has prayed and is continually praying for me and my family.
