Got a place you want sold before the end of the year? Let's talk about how that actually works.
Here's the trouble with a regular listing: there's no finish line on it. You list it, you hope, and you wait. Sometimes that's fine. Sometimes it's the middle of next spring and you're still waiting, and nobody ever told you it might go that way.
An auction is different, and it's simpler than most folks expect. You pick the day it sells. First couple of weeks we sign paperwork, talk price strategy, and get good photos taken. The next few weeks, your property goes out to buyers all over — folks right here and folks a long way off who've been watching for something like yours. Then sale day comes, buyers bid against each other, and you walk away with one answer instead of six months of maybes. About a month later it closes and the money's in your hands.
Sixty properties have already sold this year through Trophy auctions, so this isn't new ground for us.
