Baltimore City Rowhome roofs. This one in Hampden was a hot mess. 7 layers, and the sheathing was rotted, cracked and overall mess. This was a full roof replacement including new plywood, structodek underlayment and rolled asphalt roofing.

While we wait for BGE, the customer had us build a nearly 500 SF timbertech deck. There is a future patio in the design works for this 2 acre back yard in Howard Co Maryland.

We have been waiting nearly 5 months for BGE to install a secondary transformer for a new underground service for this house. We have some minor details to finish, but otherwise cant take things too much further without permanent power for heat.
Stay tuned, we hoped to be wrapped up in March and will post some professional photos of this 9 month transformation.

This Friday post from Baltimore County was a good reminder for the week, after finding this open flame gas leak on a row house in Baltimore City. Best guess is a lightning strike or power surge burned through the electrical connection. Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors may have been useful here!!
Remember 1 smoke detector in each bedroom, 1 smoke and c/o detector on each level. All hardwired and interconnected. In retrofits and older homes, Wireless 10 year sealed battery units are acceptable.
