Meet Saleemah!

Saleemah has been with Habitat America for 13 years and is a vital part of our team! Saleemah is the Assistant Community Manager at Linden Park Apartments. She is known by her coworkers and residents as hard working, dedicated, joyful, and fun to work with!

When she is not at work, she finds peace by being crafty. Which is why she frequently attends Google/YouTube University 😊. That is where she learned how to make decorative sweet treats with whimsical designs. She also loves creating organic cosmetics.

“During my previous six years at Habitat America, I have obtained four certifications. Which is a huge achievement for me since I started out as a "receptionist" and worked my way up the ladder. I need to be transparent, because you never know who is reading this and who has just started a new job or who is looking for a promotion. If you have a lack of confidence in some areas, feel a bit shy, or overwhelmed. It's, okay, we've all been in this situation to a certain extent at work. The best advice I can provide is to be present and available for yourself. This allows you to work in areas where you are weak. Embrace your strength as well. So, you can self-identify at work as an asset to your company.”
