Dear St. Cloud Owners,

Did you receive a Violation notice from the City’s Housing Code Enforcement Division for “failure to file a complete annual registration statement for non-owner–occupied dwelling unit or rooming unit” along with $100 fine? Looks like the notices were issued in error. We are not required to register our parking spaces with the City annually.

If you received a notice, you should not pay the fine or even request a hearing to contest the notice. Instead, you should send an e-mail to Code Enforcement at [email protected] and inform them there was an error in issuing the notice. Explain that your parking space is not subject to this annual registration requirement. Include the Citation number and the location of violation (address, block and lot numbers) in your e-mail. Your e-mail will be referred to a Supervisor who should abate the violation.

Good luck.

St. Cloud Snowman!

01/23/2016

We hope you are all staying safe and warm during this winter storm. A word from our snow removal company (luckily, our property is one they have been able to access):

"[We] want to update you on our progress in our snow removal operations for this hellish storm. As of this moment (Saturday, 1/23/2016, 1:15 PM) we are at a point where we are unable to access some properties due to unpassable road conditions. On properties where we have been able to work, we are running out of places to put snow and we are finding it extremely difficult to maneuver through the properties without getting “stuck’ due to the overwhelming amount of snow on the ground. Unfortunately, we are still expecting heavy snow to continue well into the evening hours tonight. Larger equipment (loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, etc.) will most certainly be required to enable us to completely clean up once the snow has stopped. Our focus, once the snow has stopped, will be on making the property accessible. We cannot guarantee that all of the parking spots will be usable nor that the site will be clean “curb to curb”. Once everything is accessible we will return to move snow on site and/or haul snow off site and complete a more detailed and thorough clean up. We do not know how long it will take to get back on site and start this process. It has been all hands on deck since 3:00 PM yesterday and we must also start thinking about getting our guys some rest and warmth. We are trying to procure any extra equipment that we can find to speed up the process and we are looking for additional places that snow can be dumped should it need to be hauled off site.

Clean up for this snow storm, throughout the entire state, is going to take a long time. We ask for your patience during this difficult and stressful time."
