I haven't been posting real estate successes lately by design... as a full time realtor with a new born, I wanted to ride under the radar to be with him as much as possible & let me team handle most of the work.

He's 3 months now, we have new listings coming, new team members & added to languages we can assist buyers with! We'll do official team intros/ graphics & update sites at the end of summer.

So, I'm in Cummings & Co. Realtors office for a closing & find an award in my files from 2024 I never knew we won! I thought 2024 was the 1st time we didn't meet production quota but good to see we did 🥰

This is my favorite conference room too, so I made a model walk video that will premier on Day In La Vida but until then, here's some shots.

Thanks to our clients for keeping us busy & helping us meet & surpass goals & I'm so excited about the new team!

S. Hanover St is LIT now!!! - literally!

This is how you transform a neighborhood...

1. Businesses unite - monthly meet up at each others businesses, network, plan & stay involved in the group messages
2. Align with all the city/state Be programs, grants & opportunities to help the residents, counseil people, etc
3. Educate community
4. Execute together
5. Support each other

Too easy! With that, the Brooklyn Business Association was born & thanks to Greater Baybrook Alliance - the beautiful bistro lights installed! Looks like a completely different Brooklyn than when Deep Flow Studios opened our first public spot on S. HANOVER in 2004!

Perfect example of government over reach resulting in the exact opposite of their goal:

Maryland (a protect tenants, not landlord state- it should be even) passed a law that landlords can only accept 1 month security deposit & no extra for pets, used to be 2 max & pet depsoits. Now, it's harder/impossible for tenants with risky Financial history or pets to be accepted anywhere!

I only accept dog families & never charge extra pet deposits (do make above market rent) but so many landlords don't & it's even less now that are accepting due to this!

I've also accepted so many risky tenants by requiring 2 months security deposit since evictions take so long if neccassary & now I cant give these tenants the opportunity anymore - they're too risky now with the new law limit & this goes for most landlords.

So to these type of tenants who can no longer find housing - thank your Maryland Government for limiting landlord protection even more resulting in removing your opportunity to rent the propterties you want. Smh
