Exciting progress in Middle River, Maryland, as St. John Properties and Somerset Companies break ground on Aspen at Greenleigh, a $148 million luxury multifamily community within our Greenleigh mixed-use community.

The 335-unit development is being built to meet the way people live today, with oversized living spaces, extensive amenities, and a focus on sustainability and long-term performance.

Aspen at Greenleigh is also setting a new benchmark in multifamily construction as the future largest Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) building in North America.

“Most significantly, ICF construction produces a high-performance and well-sealed building which is environmentally friendly, enhances indoor air quality, and lessens the likelihood of mold,” said Michael Poirot, Vice President, Multifamily Construction for St. John Properties.

Aspen at Greenleigh is expected to deliver in late 2027.

This summer’s edition of Tenant Digest Magazine highlights our unique flex space users, including Gamber-Johnson. Located at Hoepker Corporate Center in Madison, Wisconsin, Gamber-Johnson designs innovative mounting systems and docking stations used worldwide in public safety, logistics, retail, and material handling industries.

Since 2018, St. John Properties has partnered with the company to create customized flex space designed to support both office operations and hands-on vehicle installation needs. As Gamber-Johnson expanded more quickly than anticipated, St. John Properties helped the company transition into a larger space at Hoepker Corporate Center that could continue supporting its growing team and operations.

“St. John Properties has definitely been one of those companies that has been there right with us, supporting us as we continue to grow,” said Jason Lewandowski, General Manager of Gamber-Johnson.

Momentum is building at Arcola Center in Dulles, Virginia with the addition of two new tenants strengthening its mix of fitness, education, and community-driven uses.

5 Tool Factory, an indoor baseball and athletic training facility focused on developing athletes through intentional, data-driven instruction, will be opening later this summer. Burn Boot Camp, a national fitness franchise known for its 45-minute HIIT-style group workouts and built-in childcare offering, will be relocating and expanding its presence within the park.

These additions build on recent activity at the 34-acre business community, including the opening of Celebree School.

“Both Burn Boot Camp and 5 Tool Factory add family- and community-oriented uses to Arcola Center. These tenants attract consistent traffic to the business community, providing visibility to our other tenants, as well as energy and excitement,” said Matt Holbrook, Regional Partner, Virginia and Central Maryland for St. John Properties.
