Westinghouse Crossing is taking shape, starting with its first tenant, Quiddity Engineering.

The civil engineering, planning, surveying, and consulting firm has signed an 8,060-square-foot lease at our 35-acre mixed-use business community in Georgetown, Texas. Quiddity plans to open its new office by the end of the year and grow its team to approximately 55 professionals.

“Westinghouse Crossing stood out as the ideal fit to accommodate our current footprint, while ensuring we can seamlessly service our clients,” said Ryan Quinn, Central Texas General Manager for Quiddity Engineering.

The milestone comes as we complete nearly 100,000 square feet of flex/R&D space at Westinghouse Crossing, with plans for approximately 225,000 square feet of flex/R&D, office, and retail space across the community.

KCI Technologies is relocating its corporate headquarters to North Park in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

KCI, a 100-percent employee-owned engineering, consulting and construction firm with more than 2,500 professionals and nearly 70 offices nationwide, has signed a 53,344-square-foot lease at 6 North Park Drive. Approximately 300 employees are expected to relocate to the new headquarters in the second quarter of 2027.

“The business community’s amenities, led by walkable restaurants and shops, immediate access to many other dining options, and the landlord’s plans for the business park were the initial draws,” said Scott Riddle, KCI Energy Sector President.

The lease builds on the momentum at North Park following St. John Properties’ acquisition of the business community last summer and launch of a $2 million property improvement program.

St. John Properties and Somerset Companies have delivered the first phase of Melford Mansions, a new luxury multifamily community in Bowie, Maryland.

Phase I brings 197 apartment homes across four buildings, with the full community set to feature 435 residences across eight buildings upon completion.

“The rapid lease-up and sustained high occupancy of Aspen at Melford Town Center, combined with the continued strength of the multifamily sector in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. corridor presented compelling reasons to initiate construction of this best-in-class apartment home community,” said Neil Greenberg, Chief Operating Officer of Somerset Companies.

Melford Mansions also marks an exciting first for SJP as the first project delivered by our in-house multifamily construction division, formed last year.

Allie is a rising sophomore at the University of Notre Dame, where she studies Civil Engineering. Follow along as she works on research projects, attends meetings with fellow EIP intern Morgan, and gets hands-on experience with surveying alongside Jim Mathias, owner of Development Design Consultants.

EIP is a four-year initiative established and sponsored by St. John Properties that gives students hands-on engineering experience and exposure to multiple facets of the development process through partnerships with consulting engineering firms.
