OK, this closet really took me in a tail spin.

I’m so conflicted here! Obviously, as a woman I have a lot of shoes and need storage space for them. But in my opinion, this closet almost looks more like a pantry. There is such an over abundance of shelves. There’s barely any room for clothing.

Am I crazy? Do you think based on your own needs this closet offers enough space for clothing. It just seems like they went a little overboard on shelf space for bags and shoes.

According to building code, in order to be considered a bedroom, a room must have a window and a closet.

Obviously this room has a window and a closet. But I’m suggesting that building code might be updated to include that there must be a minimum square footage requirement to be considered a bedroom. Realistically after walking this so-called room, it’s barely large enough to fit a mattress. You literally would stand up and have no choice but to walk out the door.

What would you do with this space? Would this be sufficient for you to consider it a bedroom?

The terms of the residential sales contract indicate that when a property is vacated it is to be left “broom clean”.

It doesn’t say sterilized, sanitized any of that. The reasonable expectation is that the property would be broom clean. And in reality, most new homeowners will have their new property professionally cleaned before they move in just for their own satisfaction.

Take a look at this property and tell me if it meets your definition of “broom clean”.
