Do you know where rainwater travels after it washes down our streets?

The Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection & Sustainability (EPS) manages and protects the county’s natural resources, overseeing programs for environmental health, sustainability, and conservation, including watershed management, forest management, and stormwater control. They will be providing an overview of their Lower Patapsco River Small Watershed Action Plan, with an emphasis on the Cooper Branch Watershed, including the scientific data and the path forward to alleviate erosion to the Trolley Trail and flooding downstream. (Additional Watersheds within the Oella/Catonsville boundaries also include the Patapsco River, Miller Branch, Thistle Run, Sawmill Branch, Bull Branch, Herbert Run, Soapstone Branch and Santee Branch.)

We extend our thanks to the county for bringing their expertise to our community on this crucial topic.
