​We just inspected a home with a massive 1,500 sq. ft. two-story addition that is a masterclass in why home inspections are non-negotiable. 🛑 While it looks like a lot of extra space on paper, the reality is a mountain of major defects and safety hazards. 📉
​Check out the "short list" of what we found:
​❄️ No Climate Control: Zero heating or cooling systems installed for the entire 1,500 sq. ft. space. 🌡️
💦 Plumbing Hazards: No roof vents, resulting in sewer gases entering the home and air-locked lines with poor drainage. 🤢
🏠 Structural Red Flags: A roof framing design so poor it’s a leak waiting to happen, with NO attic access to verify framing, insulation, or ventilation. 🏚️
⚡️ Electrical Chaos: Inadequate circuits, missing smoke detectors, and light fixtures—plus switches in the most illogical spots. 💡
