Before Summer gets into full swing, take a few minutes to tackle some easy preventative maintenance around the house:

✔ Remove lint from your dryer vent to improve efficiency and reduce fire risk

✔ Clean your kitchen exhaust fan filter...and if you have a built-in microwave, check and clean that filter too

✔ Clean refrigerator and freezer coils, and empty and clean any drip trays to help appliances run more efficiently

✔ Check your dishwasher for leaks and clean the dishwasher filter while you're at it

✔ Check around kitchen and bathroom cabinets, under sinks, and around toilets for signs of leaks or water damage

✔ Replace faucet and showerhead washers if needed to prevent drips and wasted water

✔ Seal tile grout to help protect against moisture and extend the life of your tile surfaces

A little maintenance now can help prevent bigger (and more expensive) problems later while keeping your home running smoothly all summer long! ☀️🏡❤️
