Born and raised in Baltimore, working at Charles Plaza is a full‑circle moment for Shavele. As a child, she spent countless days in this very neighborhood while her father worked on Charles and Saratoga Streets — often stopping at Dave & Dad’s Restaurant for breakfast sandwiches. Returning to this community as a leader makes her work deeply meaningful.
Her property management journey began in 2004 as a leasing professional, and by 2005 she joined Southern Management. Over the years, she discovered her true passion: people. Helping individuals and families find a place to call home confirmed she had found her purpose. From Leasing Professional to Leasing Manager, Assistant Property Manager, and now Community Manager, every role strengthened her belief that the best leaders invest in people first.
Shavele’s story is a blueprint built on impact, inclusion, and heart. She is one of the guiding forces behind the excellence and community spirit at Charles Plaza.
