🔥 Dry Season Reminder: Help Prevent Fires

With dry conditions this time of year, it doesn’t take much for a small spark to turn into a serious fire. A few simple precautions can help protect your home, property, and community.

🏡 Keep these fire prevention tips in mind:
• Clear dry leaves, brush, and other debris away from your home and buildings.
• Be extra careful with fire pits, grills, and outdoor flames — never leave them unattended.
• Make sure ci******es and other smoking materials are completely extinguished.
• Avoid burning brush or debris during especially dry or windy conditions.
• Keep gutters, decks, and areas around your home free of dry vegetation.
• Have a garden hose or other water source easily accessible when doing outdoor work.
• Check local fire danger levels and burning restrictions before starting any outdoor fire.

A little extra caution during dry weather can go a long way toward keeping our homes and Maine communities safe. ❤️
