What a turnout! Today, several local Bardstown/Nelson County Realtors served over 125 burgers, what seemed like 200 pork chops and several hot dogs!
It was awesome to hear some of the cast from The Stephen Foster Story sing for the crowd while we served. They are an added bonus every year for those who attend.
We’ve done the Community Appreciation Cookout for over 12 years serves as a kick off for our annual Project School Supplies, school supply drive. Keep an eye out for when we’ll be set up next month with the bus!

The Old Kentucky Home Chapter of GLAR is doing our annual cookout! We'll be in the Bardstown Farmers Market serving lunch starting 11AM. We've been doing this for over 10 years and can't wait to see everyone!

Today the Kentucky Realtors spent the day at the Kentucky State Capitol Annex building and the Thomas D.
Clark Center for Kentucky History.

We spoke to legislators in our regions to let them know what we do and do not support, listened to the President of the KY Chamber Ashli Watts, Secretary of State Michael Adams, and Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman, who had great things to say about her time in Nelson County!

Since the Capitol is undergoing a major renovation I wasn’t able to see Cousin Abe, but there was a nice bust at the History Center.
