Planted a tilia Americana (American linden) today.This tree replaces one that stood in the same spot for years.The sidewalk went around the tree and up to the porch.The porch is in future plans.

I have wanted to to keep this page out of the dirt but times have changed.I am offering a 500 dollar reward for conviction of who is responsible for the lawn damage at the storage.please contact me or real police not the village of Barker police .They are no help.

The view Perry Pallister would have seen from his front door in 1895 .This a temporary door. Haven't found a vintage door that will look good on the house.The original door is still on the house just to the left of those windows.The steps are temporary also until the porch is brought back.This is the start of my ambitious plans for 2021.

Proably the first time since the 1970 this part of the pallister houses Foundation has seen light.removed the hideous raised bed.Some day the porch will reappear.

Well it's been some time since I last posted.Been a crazy start to spring and I hope everyone is safe.In Barker history the year was 1918 times were similar to what we are going through now, but it was the Spanish flu.Perry Pallisters son lost his life to the flu October 21 1918.I have been told his body was laid out in pallister s home as the norm of the day.The Palliters had moved down Pallister Ave by then to 1717 Pallister Ave.
