NEW Lockheart restaurant opening at 70 Union St in Newton Centre
“Lockheart is a Southwestern-themed restaurant in Wellesley, Massachusetts, known for its tacos, cocktails, and vibrant atmosphere, with popular dishes like street corn, Baja fish tacos, and nachos. It offers a diverse menu with options for brunch, lunch, and dinner, including entrees, salads, and bowls, and features weekly events like trivia and live music in its downstairs lounge. The new Newton Centre location’s hours of operation will be Monday through Saturday from 11:00AM
-1:00AM, and Sunday 10:00AM – 1:00AM. There will be 86 seats inside and 9 outdoor seats on city property. The entertainment will consist of recorded music below conversation level and televisions.
The former train station building which will house this new restaurant at 70 Union St in Newton Centre was sold on 9/4/25 for $2,030,000 and it has a current 2026 assessed value of $660,900.
