WHAT'S AN HOA?

A homeowners association (HOA) is a private organization in a residential community that sets and enforces rules and regulations for the neighborhood.

The primary purpose of an HOA is to maintain and improve the quality of life in the community by managing common areas and amenities, enforcing rules and regulations and collecting fees from members to pay for these services. HOAs may also provide additional services such as landscaping, security and social activities.

Not all neighborhoods have HOAs, and the rules and regulations of an HOA can vary widely from one community to another.

📦Make Four Boxes
Get four boxes or bins. Label them: trash, recycle, donate and sell. Everything you decide to get rid of can go into one of those four bins.

🎋Start with Seasonal Decor
If any out-of-season decorations are still up, it's time to take them down. Any items that you aren't excited to put up next year are great for the donation bin.

⏳Set a Time Limit
Do a little decluttering each day and limit the amount of time you spend working on it so it doesn't start to take over your whole life.
