Ten years ago today, I officially became a Realtor.
I had no idea where this second career would take me.
And honestly, if 2016 Natasa could sit down for coffee with 2026 Natasa, I’m not sure she would believe half of it. 😂
Nearly 200 families helped with buying, selling, investing, renting and making some pretty major life changes.
There have been homes I celebrated selling, deals that tested every ounce of patience I had, contracts that taught me more than any class ever could, and probably several thousand texts that started with, “Quick question…” 😂
But when I think about the last ten years, the thing I am proudest of isn’t the sales.
It’s the relationships.
It’s the client who calls years later and says, “My daughter needs a Realtor.”
The friend who sends me another friend.
The family who trusts me to help another member of their family.
And maybe the best full circle moment of all: my very first clients were a buy and sell ten years ago. Last year, we got to do it all over again. ❤️
That means more to me than any sales statistic ever could.
And then there is my family.
They believed in this career change from the beginning. My kids grew up around real estate. They came along on showings, waited while Mom finished “one quick thing,” and learned very early that a Realtor’s phone apparently does not understand business hours. 😂
I genuinely don’t think I would be here without their support.
And since we’re giving out thank yous today, I suppose I should also thank a few bosses along the way who showed me exactly what I didn’t want my working life to look like.
You probably had no idea you were helping launch my real estate career.
So... thanks for that. 😉😂
Most of all, thank you to every single person who has trusted me with your home, your move, your investment, your family or your referral.
Real estate may have started as my second career.
Somewhere along the way, it became my career, my business, my community and a very big part of my life.
Ten years. Nearly 200 families. Countless relationships.
And I’m definitely not done yet. ❤️
