Chicago made the world feel a whole lot smaller yesterday.

I was out showing commercial properties to a client in my old neighborhood, Wicker Park, when I noticed three people standing nearby talking outside one of the listings. They turned around… and one of them was my dear friend and fellow commercial real estate professional.

Of all the places to run into each other! Moments like this remind me how connected this industry really is — and how special it is to build genuine friendships along the way.

Today was a big milestone for me—I made my debut as a host on our brand new webinar series, Commercially Curious!

As a commercial real estate broker and someone who proudly serves as Chair of the Education Committee with , this project has been especially meaningful to be a part of from the ground up.

Our very first episode exceeded expectations. The engagement, the questions, and the energy from everyone who joined confirmed exactly why we created this series—to make commercial real estate more approachable, practical, and accessible.

Commercial real estate can feel complex from the outside, but conversations like these are how we start to break it down and open the door for more people to get involved and grow.

Grateful for the incredible team behind this and everyone who showed up to support our first session. This is just the beginning.

I kicked off my day at the and Broker Site Tour in West Dundee. This stunning property features a three-story restaurant concept, complete with an event space and two balconies overlooking the river—an incredible setting with so much potential.

We also heard from Tim Scott, Director of Economic Development for West Dundee, who shared how the village is actively investing in redevelopment and preservation—continuing to build on the charm and vibrancy that make this community so special.

An afternoon well spent ✨🍷

I had such a great time at the Lake Barrington Wine & Design Tour—an inspiring mix of beautiful spaces, great conversations, and, of course, some amazing wine.

From touring thoughtfully curated showrooms to connecting with talented designers, it was a reminder of how much creativity and intention go into the spaces we live and work in. As someone who works in both residential and commercial real estate, it’s always exciting to see the latest trends come to life and think about how they shape the way people experience a space.

Even better getting to enjoy it alongside such a talented crew—an interior designer and an event planner—made the day even more fun and insightful.

Grateful for afternoons like this that blend business, creativity, and connection. 🥂
