Henry Cavill will star as Connor MacLeod in the upcoming Highlander movie. The film will be directed by John Wick creator Chad Stahelski. Russell Crowe has joined the cast as Connor’s mentor, while Karen Gillan will play his wife, Heather. Dave Bautista is set to portray the villain Kurgan. Filming begins in Scotland this September, and the iconic Queen soundtrack will make a return. The movie is expected to release in 2027 or 2028. It promises to be an epic reboot, because after all—there can be only one.
