I have several new followers, so an intro post seems in order. Welcome! I’m Ann Marie, owner of Rie Design Co.

A little background. My business and offerings have shifted over time, and especially so in the last year. When I first started in this field, I primarily offered staging services. Most of my early clients were getting ready to list their homes for sale and I would help them get their houses staged and ready for the real estate market.

As time went on, I had a growing number of clients who would reach back out to me once they were in their new homes. They’d come to me with new and different design questions and needs. This shift provided a fun new challenge, working with clients to create spaces tailored for them, rather than staging their homes to appeal to the masses.

Fast forward a couple of years to the time when my husband and I made the decision to purchase his childhood home and move our family there. Our decision to move, made it obvious that it was time for me to sell off my massive stock of staging inventory.

Those of you who have been with me for awhile, will remember my inventory reduction sales that I hosted online in the early days of Covid quarantine - back when all of the local decor stores were closed. Candles, flowers, chairs, pillows (SO. MANY. PILLOWS.), lamps, vases, artwork, mirrors…ALL the things. It was bittersweet to let go of all of the staging inventory that had been a staple of my business for so long, but it was time and I’ve never looked back.

While I no longer stage vacant homes, I do however, still provide staging consultations for clients getting ready to list their homes. Additionally, I offer a wide variety of other design services. My favorite projects are small-scale projects with a big impact. Things like gallery wall installs, shelf styling, sourcing and styling soft finishes, such as pillows, rugs & curtains and selecting the perfect accessories to complete a space.

Hi! It’s been ages since I’ve posted here on my business page, so I thought I’d pop on to introduce myself to those of you who are new here 💁🏼‍♀️

I also have some updates to share with friends & clients old + new. So be watching for more info about services + pricing.

I am Ann Marie, owner + creator of Rie Design Co.

I’ve been staging and styling for clients since 2015. Before that, I worked in training and employee development for a local Credit Union. I truly enjoyed my time spent as an employee coach and treasure the relationships I built there, but I have loved the flexible schedule and creative outlet that this job has provided ❤️❤️

On a more personal note, I am a wife to Nate and mom to three great kiddos - Maci (11), Miles (9) and Nora (5) As a family we recently moved into Nate’s childhood home after renovating it top to bottom. We love raising our family here in Bartlesville where we both grew up.

🚨Big changes ahead for Rie Design Co.🚨

Those of you who know me personally, have likely seen/heard the news that my family will soon be moving. We’ll still be here in Bartlesville, and I am pleased to share that I will continue to offer a variety of staging and design services. However, our new location will not have space enough for me to continue to carry such a massive amount of inventory.

That being said, I’ll be downsizing my inventory considerably and will no longer provide full vacant home staging.

If you know a realtor or stager who may want to purchase some staging furniture, send them my way! Or, if you’re in the market for home decor items (pillows, vases, mirrors, wall art, area rugs, end tables, etc.) stay tuned for details about an inventory reduction sale.

After previously sitting on the market For Sale by Owner without any movement, these homeowners decided to list with an agent who invested in staging and brought in multiple offers within days of listing 🙌🏻

My family and I have some big changes and decisions coming up (don’t worry, it’s all good!) I’ll certainly share more when the time comes, but in the mean time, I’m putting some feelers out to see if anyone might be interested in helping me on a part-time basis with some staging projects, or if I know anyone who might be interested in buying some or all of my staging inventory...

If you (or someone you know) might be interested, give me a shout and we can discuss. Feel free to share this with anyone you think might be a good fit.

Nothing definitive at this point, just putting some feelers out to gauge interest.

More than a typical staging job, my husband and I purchased and renovated this property and then I had the pleasure of staging it.

It’s currently on the market with an Open House scheduled for this Sunday, August 25th. If you’re local to Bartlesville and in the market for a 4 🛏, 3 🛀 home with 3 living areas (one could easily be a guest room or mother-in-law suite) and a gorgeous park-like backyard, pm me for more details and/or the address! Did I mention it’s in Wayside school district and on a quiet cul-de-sac?! 👌🏻

Last month I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Minnesota with my younger sister and her family, helping them get their new home feeling more like home. It was so good to see them and so much fun helping them pull everything together. We worked hard & shopped harder but I think all of us were pleased with the end results. I don’t have many pictures to share, because we worked riiight up until I had to leave for the airport to fly home. Lighting isn’t great in any of these pictures, but here are a few before and after shots of a couple of the spaces we worked on.
