There are currently 1,186 homes for sale across our 24 western-suburb towns, down just 6 homes from last week. Even with inventory holding fairly steady, homes are still moving quickly — half of recent sales went under contract within just 8 days.

📊 This week’s numbers:

* 🏡 1,186 active homes across our 24-town area
* 📉 Down 6 from September 16
* 🏗️ 127 new-construction homes currently available
* 🌆 20,273 homes available throughout the Chicagoland MLS
* 📍 Bartlett: 58 homes for sale — 30 single-family homes and 28 condos/townhomes

Elgin continues to have the most inventory with 152 homes, followed by St. Charles/Campton Hills with 119 and Schaumburg with 116.

Inventory continues to climb across Chicago’s western suburbs. There are now 1,192 homes for sale across the 24 communities we track, up 35 homes from last week.

📊 This week’s market snapshot:
🏡 1,192 active homes across our 24-town area
📈 +35 homes since September 9
🏗️ 131 new-construction homes currently available
🌆 19,927 active homes across the broader Chicagoland MLS
📍 Our 24 communities represent approximately 6.0% of Chicagoland inventory

Elgin continues to have the most inventory with 150 homes, while Schaumburg and St. Charles/Campton Hills each have 126. Bartlett currently has 65 homes for sale.

Even with inventory increasing, homes are still moving quickly — half of recent sales went under contract within approximately 8 days, based on our latest MRED data.

Inventory continues to grow across Chicago’s western suburbs. There are now 1,157 homes for sale across the 24 communities we track, up 18 homes from last week.

📊 This week’s snapshot:
• Elgin leads with 151 homes for sale
• Schaumburg: 123 homes
• St. Charles/Campton Hills: 113 homes
• Bartlett climbed to 63 homes, up 7 from last week
• Half of recent sales are going under contract within about 8 days
• 66 out of every 100 recent sales closed at or above asking price
