As a Realtor, I asked Chat GPT to roast Zillow 😅
Ah yes, Zillow —
“2 bed, 1 bath, cozy starter home”
Translation: the bathroom and kitchen are in a custody battle over square footage.
Zillow photos are always:
1. A suspiciously wide-angle shot of a sink
2. A living room staged like nobody has ever experienced joy
3. One photo of a nearby coffee shop because even the realtor gave up on the house
And the Zestimate?
That thing changes more often than crypto prices.
“Your home is worth $480,000.”
Next Tuesday:
“We’ve reconsidered. It’s actually a Panera Bread.”
My reasons to use Zillow to browse and use a Realtor for to educate yourself & make decisions:
✅ Zillow has never walked through the property.
✅ Zillow has not smelled the "finished basement."
✅ Zillow has not noticed the roof is older than the buyer's loan officer.
✅ Zillow has not watched an inspection report turn a dream home into a 47 page horror novel.
✅ Zillow has not explained appraisal risk, insurance issues, HOA drama, permit problems, flood zones, financing terms, seller motivation, local demand
✅ Zillow can’t explain why the house with beautiful photos has been sitting for 96 days in a this market.
I understand what the internet says. Now let me show you what the the MARKET 👀🏡
FYI- a realtor’s REAL work (the blood, sweat & tears) starts after the house is “found” 🫠😉
