We are super excited to welcome Michelle to the Roost team.
Michelle Manzi, a resident of Polk County for 30 years, is a seasoned music educator, conductor, and musician. She is currently a Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Polk State College in Winter Haven, Florida, conducts the Manzi Legacy Choir, serves as Worship Coordinator at Shepherd’s Community United Methodist Church and maintains a very successful private voice and piano studio. Michelle is a featured conductor at Carnegie Hall for the 2027 Season. In April 2027 she will conduct a national mass choir performing Morten Lauridsen’s “Lux Aeterna” accompanied by the New England Symphony.
Mom to three adult children, two of whom are married, Michelle has been blessed to raise her family here in the Mulberry and South Lakeland Communities. Many days and weekends were spent on the soccer fields, at church, and school activities. Michelle was co-owner of a private music school for 9 years teaching hundreds of students from surrounding areas and accompanying musicians. Michelle’s great passion is helping others through programs like “The Great American Teach In”, Arts in Medicine Week, Emcee at Vacation Bible School, Soccer team manager, or bringing music to the community. She is a great connector of people and a problem solver. She actively listens and easily creates trust with those around her.
Michelle loves to travel to the beach and the mountains, kayaking at the springs, Disney trips, and staycations.
Real Estate is the next big chapter of her career. She has spent 30 years in formal education teaching at every level. Working with young adults, guiding them as they fulfill their college dream, has led her into helping others realize the dream of home ownership. Michelle listens and focuses on people’s wants and needs to be efficient at finding the perfect home. She is a trusted and valued friend that wants to work for you.
