While I was a student at the GREAT University of Texas at Austin, I began working for my Grandmother at her real estate company in Bastrop. I designed ads and brochures for the office on a part time basis. Cue, the beginning of my long time love affair with marketing. Once I graduated and began working full time as the office manager. Had to learn the business on all levels, and did it for two ye

ars before becoming a real estate agent. In 2012, I completed the requirements for my real estate broker license. My Grandma and I worked together for many years before she retired in 2023. She worked hard to build this business and she wanted to make sure I was ready to take it on and I am proud to say I passed the test, that was the HARD one. I have been selling Bastrop and beyond for 20 years and I am proud to continue my Grandmother's legacy as broker/owner of RE/MAX Bastrop Area. Professional Accomplishments

🏡 JUST SOLD | 308 Sunfish Street | Bastrop

Together, we reached the finish line.

Not every home sale happens on the timeline we hope for, but with patience, trust, and a willingness to stay the course, good things can happen.

As both a person and a real estate professional, honesty and integrity are values I take seriously. My goal is always to provide straightforward advice, consistent communication, and guidance that helps my clients make the best decisions for their situation.

I am incredibly grateful to my sellers for placing their trust in me throughout this journey. Together, we reached the finish line.

Congratulations to my sellers on a successful closing, and congratulations to the buyers as they begin an exciting new chapter in their new home.

Thank you to everyone involved in helping make this sale a reality.

Some homes have a backyard.
This one has a destination.

Set on just over an acre in Pine Forest, this white stone home offers 3 bedrooms, a dedicated office, an additional flex living space, and one of the most thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces I've seen in a long time.

The owners invested heavily in creating a backyard that can be enjoyed year-round. Turf, extensive landscaping, retaining walls, stone pathways, multiple patio areas, a dedicated fire pit gathering space, and an elevated cowboy pool with both a heater and chiller system create a setting that feels more like a private retreat than a backyard.

Inside you'll find no carpet, luxury vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops, large display windows, an open floor plan, and a fireplace.

If you've been searching for a home with space to spread out, entertain, work from home, and enjoy the outdoors, this one deserves a closer look.

🏡 Price Improvement | 508 Turney Street | Smithville

Now offered at $239,900.

What started as an Airbnb became part of our family's story, and now it's ready for its next chapter.

Several years ago, Jason and I bought this little Smithville cottage as a short-term rental. Then life shifted, and for about six months our family found ourselves living here while our home in Bastrop was being renovated.

What started as an investment property became something much more personal.

We spent evenings on the porch, explored downtown, got to know local businesses, and experienced firsthand what makes Smithville such a special community. It gave us a whole new appreciation for this town and the people who call it home.

After that season, Tiny Turney returned to serving as an Airbnb, welcoming guests from all over Texas and beyond. Many arrived as visitors and left with the same affection for Smithville that we developed.

Today, this charming cottage is available for purchase and can be sold furnished and ready to enjoy.

✔️ 2 Bedrooms
✔️ 1 Bath
✔️ Large Corner Lot

Whether you're looking for a full-time home, weekend retreat, investment property, or short-term rental opportunity, this little house offers plenty of possibilities.

As a Realtor, I'm usually helping other people sell their homes. This time, Jason and I are the sellers, and this little house holds a lot of great memories for our family.

We'd love to see someone else create their own story here.

Another Downtown Bastrop Match Made ✨

1106 Spring Street is officially closed, and this one was especially meaningful to me.

As someone who has personally lived in downtown Bastrop for more than 25 years, helping clients buy and sell in this part of town always feels a little different. Downtown Bastrop isn’t just a location. It’s a lifestyle, a rhythm, and a sense of community that people truly connect with.

From the mature trees and historic charm to being close to local restaurants, shops, events, and the river, homes in this area continue to be some of the most sought after in Bastrop.

Congratulations to my sellers and to the new owners of this beautiful property. I have no doubt they’re going to love being part of downtown Bastrop.

Last night was Gemma’s first athletic banquet.

Growing up, Gemma mostly did dance and one short soccer season around age 4. She was so excited to start middle school and finally try sports.

This year she showed up for volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis. She did the practices before and after school, she worked hard & she grew in so many ways.

Now she’s headed to a couple of sports camps this summer to keep learning, keep practicing, and get ready for 8th grade.

What I admire most about Gemma is her willingness to keep showing up, even when things are hard, uncomfortable, or don’t go the way she hoped they would. That takes courage.

Gemma has a tough layer, but underneath it is a kid who feels deeply, loves hard, and cares a whole lot about what’s fair. She will stand up for the underdog every single time because in many ways, she has been one herself.

She will keep trying.
She will keep learning.
And she will get there.
Persistent, loyal, and fierce.

A huge thank you to all of the coaches who gave her a chance, believed in her, encouraged her, and saw the heart and spirit underneath it all.

And what a special first year of athletics it has been for Riverside Middle School. BISD, RMS, and the citizens of Bastrop should all be proud to have played a part in creating these opportunities for students. The future of this program is incredibly bright.

You know those properties that instantly make you exhale a little?

This is one of them.

Riverfront setting, massive trees, gardens, porches, wildlife, starry skies, and room to breathe… all less than two miles from Main Street in Bastrop.

It feels peaceful and tucked away while still being incredibly convenient to downtown, restaurants, shopping, and everyday life.

That combination is getting harder and harder to find.

148 My Road is the kind of property people move to Texas hoping to find.
