It's the perfect weather to get out with your furry friends to enjoy all Central TX offers. However, be aware of the dangers before you take your fur babies to swim in local watering holes. The deadly blue-green algae is back in Lady Bird Lake, which could cause serious health issues, or even death, for your dogs. Stay informed and stay safe.

Austin officials don't yet know if this current algae is producing toxins but warned that people should treat it as if it was poisonous.
