Historic Bastrop High Apartments is a senior independent living facility for anyone age 55 or older. Constructed in 1927, this beautiful, historic building has been completely renovated and rebuilt with quality materials, current technology, and modern electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. We have one of the largest solar energy systems in all of North Louisiana which translates into cost

saving benefits for our residents. We offer 59 one-bedroom units, 4 two-bedroom units, 2 efficiency units, and 3 one-bedroom townhouse units. Seven of our units are designed for the hearing impaired and six are designed for those with handicaps or disabilities. Our one-bedroom apartments measure approximately 700 sq. Every apartment is furnished with a stacked washer/dryer unit, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven/range, and garbage disposal. Basic cable and ceiling fans are provided in two rooms. As for utilities, residents are responsible for electricity only; we pay all other utilities. Additional amenities include tenant parking, apartment maintenance and preventative maintenance, security system, fitness/exercise room, and mail delivery within the building. We are located near Bastrop's medical community and historic downtown. Monthly rents range from $405 to $640. A 12-month lease is required.
