A great big Texas THANK YOU to all of you who supported the Santa For Soldiers Toy Drive for children of the soldiers at Ft. Hood again this year !! It was a huge success because of your continued support. If you were not able to participate this year... don't worry, we will do it again next year !! Merry Christmas Ya'll !!

We had the most amazing trip on Friday back to visit Ft. Hood to deliver toys to the children of soldiers there. Just call us "Santa's Helpers!" These young men and women give so much to serve our country - it is so rewarding to be able to give back just a little to help out with some toys for their children. And they are so appreciative!!

It's that time of year!! We are gearing up for the annual Toy Drive for children of the soldiers at Ft. Hood. It seems even more important this year with the government shutdown. Many of these young men and women are struggling on a normal basis and now it is even worse - showing up for duty and not getting paid. Let's show up for them and provide some much needed toys for their children at Christmas!!

Here is a huge Texas Classics shout out to all those that braved the crazy Texas weather on Saturday to come out for the Bastrop Lighted Christmas Parade. There were still a large number of participants - floats, walking groups, even mounted police - who showed up to dazzle children and parents alike with their creations despite the rainy conditions. Thank you to all those that helped to get our float ready, and a very special thank you to Matt and Sarah Martin for always being there for me no matter what I ask, Bill Liggett for his continued support and construction expertise, and Mike Dickson and Efrain Barron for their assistance in preparations. I couldn't do it without each of you. Love you all!!

Such an amazing experience to be able to share this time with our young enlisted. They give so much of themselves and we are so appreciative for all that they do. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those that will be away from home during the Holidays and won't be able to share in the joy of the season like we all do. They are the reason that we can celebrate freely. Thank you just doesn't express enough our gratitude!! Merry Christmas and God Bless !

We're beyond thrilled to share that our annual Children's Toy Drive was a huge success! 🎁✨

It's a blessing it is to be able to work with the soldiers at Ft. Cavazos (previously Ft. Hood) and show them just a small amount of appreciation for their sacrifice to our country by helping to make their holiday season even happier for themselves and their families.

We could not do this without the support of our Bastrop community and local businesses. From graciously offering to put donation boxes in their lobbies and spreading the news to donating toys and gifts for these children, our community truly showed out with holiday spirit. We would especially like to give a warm thank you to First National Bank, Vera Bank, Trinity Title, and Bastrop Chamber of Commerce for making donation boxes available.

If you were unable to participate this year, but would like to be involved next year, please contact Linda Griesenbeck on our team. We're thrilled to continue this tradition and partner with groups on base so we can start even earlier & spread the joy to even more families! Happy holidays!

We’ll be accepting toy donations for the children of enlisted soldiers at Fort Cavazos until December 2nd. Find toy drop-off boxes at our office, the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, select First National Bank locations, Trinity Title, and Verabank!

It's that time of year again! We have started putting out the donation boxes to collect toys for the children of enlisted soldiers at Ft. Cavazos (formerly Ft. Hood). We will be collecting until the end of November and distributing toys on Friday, December 6th. Please help us make some children very happy by donating. Even one small toy could make a huge difference to these children.

Thank you to everyone who came out for the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce event today. We had a blast playing Blackjack and enjoying wine tasting from Red Rock Vineyards. Hope you all had as much fun as we did!
